Re: [libreoffice-users] Address Book Conundrum
Not a 100% sure, but try this. Open a Writer document Left click on Check "Available Databases" column on right. If not there, try button below to reconnect to Calc spreadsheet. Hope this helps. In a freshly installed version of LibreOffice (7.6.0.3) it's no longer available as it requires the "base" component that is not present. Have I missed something in a Release Note, or is there a functional alternative? Thanks for the tip, but no joy.It seems that the absence of the 'Base' component in the last few releases is at the root of my problem. It has required Base also in the past, but many people didn't recognize this. You connect from Writer thruogh Base to Calc. Why isn't Base available for your installation. I never git an installation without Base component (OpenSUSE 64bit rpm Linux here). I confirm that Base was _always_ installed with the rest of the suite for me. Do you have LibreOffice Start Center with your installation? Re: [libreoffice-users] Address Book Conundrum
Did you install 7.6.0.3 from the LO website DL page. Base is a separate component in the openSuse repositories with an optional install. On 12/09/2023 06:57, Paul D.
