only a question about the two Linux-configurations:
Do you use LO from repositories of OpenSUSE or from LibreOffice directly?
Do you use different window manager like kde or gtk?
Using the same version of OpenSUSE here…

Just a semi-random possibility...
Open (a backup of) your ODT file -> menu Tools -> Options ->
LibreOffice Writer -> Compatibility
Compare those settings in bot
