Heinrich, if you don't mind using the Ubuntu-ised version, currently
4.2.0.4, Build ID: 420m0(Build:4), of the latest stable LibreOffice
release, you might want to consider installing the PPA, which works just as
well on Linux Mint (I'm using 64-bit Petra myself, with the Cinnamon
desktop) as it does on Ubuntu :

sudo add-apt-repository ppa:libreoffice/ppa
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get upgrade

Installing the PPA should remove the earlier version of LibO, and clicking
the LibO icons in the menu (or on the panel, if you, like myself, place
them there) will then launch the latest version....

Please Report back and let us know how this works for you....

Henri
