I DID disable it under "KDE-System->Settings", but it still > starts... > Regards > Heinric Heinrich, if you don't mind using the Ubuntu-ised version, currently 4.2.0.4, Build ID: 420m0(Build:4), of the latest stable LibreOffice release, you might want to consider installing the PPA, which works just as well on Linux Mint (I'm using 64-bit Petra myself, with the Cinnamon desktop) as it does on Ubuntu : sudo add-apt-repository ppa:libreoffice/ppa sudo apt-get update sudo apt-get upgrade Installing the PPA should remove the earlier version of LibO, and clicking the LibO icons in the menu (or on the panel, if you, like myself, place them there) will then launch the latest version....
