Yes, this is a good suggestion! Using the file you (nasrin) sent me as an example: original docx 221KB saved as doc (in Office 2010) 874KB doc+zip 193KB Your best option is to ask your friend to save as doc in MS Office and then zip. This way both can open and edit the file. You just need to add some extra steps: extract the file, edit and then compress again. Saving as ODT in MS Office 2010 (which has a similar size to docx) is unfortunately not an option in this case: MS Office will ruin the file if you modify it in LibreOffice. Hope this helps. -- View this message in context: http://nabble.documentfoundation.org/about-libreoffice-and-tables-tp4180245p4180376.html Sent from the Users mailing list archive at Nabble.com. -- To unsubscribe e-mail to: users+unsubscr...@global.libreoffice.org Problems? http://www.libreoffice.org/get-help/mailing-lists/how-to-unsubscribe/ Posting guidelines + more: http://wiki.documentfoundation.org/Netiquette List archive: http://listarchives.libreoffice.org/global/users/ All messages sent to this list will be publicly archived and cannot be deleted
