The Android based viewer is built from current development master. A nightly .APK spin is available here: http://dev-builds.libreoffice.org/daily/master/Android-ARM@24-Bytemark-Hosting/ I just checked build signature and its included source comits are less than 24 hours old--suffice to say its developmenti is kept current with the rest of the development effort. As to what is "released" and posted to F-Droid, or the Google Play store, that beta "release" looks to be a bit dated. I'll poke the lead dev to ask him to comment here on that issue.
