I just reworked an old document written in Writer five years' ago. My intention
was to replace all the images with new ones.
There are 69 png images in the doc and all are black and white line drawings
saved, at the time, in RGBA format with transparency. The replacement images
are pngs saved

If I open the doc and then save as doc-a.odt, the size jumps up by 0.3 MiB to
8.4. If I then keep doc-a.odt still open and save as doc-b.odt, the size

In the Edit menu, there is a Find... selection just above the Find and
Replace selection. Find just pops a small toolbar at the bottom of the
screen, while Find and Replace pops a full panel. You can use either to
locate your words (for the Find toolbar, type your word in the text
