I had a 26 page file of 61 KB. I saved the file. When I went to open it
again, the first page was blank, the second page was there, and the
third page was a blank. Nothing more was there.
My computer shows that the file is still there and is 61KB.

Until recently I have been saving my two column pages of text in rtf
with no problems. I have been doing this for years with no problems. Now
the program will only save this two column format as odt.

This question probably has been answered previously, but I am new to LibreOffce
so please have patience with me. But, from my reading, I see I am not the only
one with this problem.
I unpack the files, go to the Installation Wizard, choose Typical, Start

I have hundreds of pages with each page divided into two columns. I have
been doing this for at least two years with LibreOffice. Never had it
been a problem.
After the second last update, I find that when I open up a page I had
saved, no columns. I have to reset them. I am now using ver 4.4.1
